Thom Bell (Producer – Philadelphia)

Classically trained as a teenager, Bell is the producer largely responsible for the sound of Philadelphia in the 1970s. His work with the Delfonics (La, La Means I Love You and Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time?) brought a lush, smooth sound to soul music. Bell also produced hit records for the Spinners, Dionne Warwick and Elton John.
