Ted Mills

Best known as the lead singer of Philadelphia’s dreamy unit Blue Magic, Ted was originally hired by the group’s label as a staff songwriter. His talent as a singer was undeniable though, and the label decided to form a group using Ted and some guys from his North Philadelphia neighborhood that happened to be in other groups at the time. Ted’s vocals adorned such classics as “Three Ring Circus”, “Chasing Rainbows” and the “Wizard” really worked his magic on the hit single “Sideshow”.
